Has anybody used Custommade.com?
I just found out about this site, though it appears they've been around for a few years. Lots of furniture makers, jewelry designers, and a few accomplished-looking luthiers are part of it. I'm thinking of signing up, but it's not free so I need to know if it's likely to actually bring in some work. Does anybody here have first-hand (or even second-hand) experience with this business?

While I don't advertise on YouTube, I 've done a lot of videos on CNC machining, and have gotten leads for many types of work, mostly non-guitar related, but keeping the machine running keeps the money coming in!

What does an accomplished luthier look like? I've started growing a mustache. does that help?

No, that will only make you a distinguished looking luthier.
