Expected action rise due to humidity
A simple question with probably no simple answer. How much increase in string action could be expected for a guitar set up at 45% humidity when the humidity rises to 65%, or even 75% humidity? Secondly, what measures can be taken to reduce this disparity? It seems a thicker soundboard would increase...

DJ - Your go bar deck is too low. Not sure about others here but mine dont deflect more than 3 or 4 inches. They lose their clamping force as well when they are bent that much. As far as store bought braces, I dont condone them. I need to split every brace myself to make sure they wont break later. ...

Here is one I came up with using bent laminations. The pieces are hinged at the top and bottom so they fold up for travel. The guitar rests on pads made of 1/4" felt.
