Out of the blue I decided to make a lap steel out of some left over hardware. The question I have is the bridge. I see some are intonated, others are not. I planned on using a old strat bridge, mounting is solid. If it does not need individual string intonation, I could come up with a bridge with a simpler bridge design. Thoughts?
Thanks,

Re: Lap steel bridge question
I have not seen any lap steels that have intonated bridges. It is completely unnecessary because intonation is needed only when you push the strings down to the fingerboard.
