martin O28vs plans

Post by will simms »

hello, my name is will simms and I recently rejoined the forum. I recemtly purchasede a set of plans for a Martin O28vs from ultimate guitar plans via download.
All of the measurements seem to be accurate except for the side template, which when held against the top and back template seems to be a few inches off.
The fix is easy, and is not my real concern. I am more worried about the accuracy of the plans. Has anyone in the forum had any experience with these plans?
Also, if there is a better set of plans for this guitar I would like to know the source. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks...

Will

I bought that same plan but did not catch that until after I cut my sides . Other than that it made a realty nice little guitar .I made the body 7/16 deeper and the fretboard is not as wide ( my girl hands ) only problem is I can't put it down
