Need help to appraise this Vintage Cello

Post by Jingyel »

Hi,

I found this cello in a local store.

size 51" looks very good conditions, with some wear on the wood.

I am not quite sure if the strip are real or painted.

Have anyone ever hear of this name brand?

Could you give me some clue of the value?

Thanks for the help!

Pretty sure this thread answers your question - with a great back-story as well:

Your 'cello looks pretty good from here.
