If you have a string instrument of any kind that needs fixing, a mistake you made in building a new instrument that you need to "disappear," or a question about the ethics of altering an older instrument, ask here. Please note that it will be much easier for us to help you decide on the best repair method if you post some pictures of the problem.

Emma, those are some cool instruments and looks like you do great work! I would love to hear them together with each one having a separate track. I am elbow deep in a difficult restoration and your pics really helped me continue.

Nice looking instruments and restorations. Reminds me of a few I've done. One a mandolin similar to yours. Have a couple other oldies on the shelf waiting for restoring. I love old unusual instruments. Again, nice job.

What's wrong with the violin bow? That reverse camber looks terrible.
