Restoration of a 1931 Martin 00-17

If you have a string instrument of any kind that needs fixing, a mistake you made in building a new instrument that you need to "disappear," or a question about the ethics of altering an older instrument, ask here. Please note that it will be much easier for us to help you decide on the best repair method if you post some pictures of the problem.

Thanks for finishing the post AND the guitar, Barry. It really looks great. I figured it was headed for the kindling pile early on, but you really pulled it back from the edge.

Also, glad to see Michael Lewis poking around again. I hope that continues.

Thanks Dennis. My client is really enjoying the guitar and he has already gotten several offers.

I too am glad to see Michael here again.
