Cedar top pick wear / damage repair.

If you have a string instrument of any kind that needs fixing, a mistake you made in building a new instrument that you need to "disappear," or a question about the ethics of altering an older instrument, ask here. I'd leave off the thin ring part of the pickguard and just let that part show. It won't be that bad, and will look better than the ring part, IMHO.
