classical top touchup

If you have a string instrument of any kind that needs fixing, a mistake you made in building a new instrument that you need to "disappear," or a question about the ethics of altering an older instrument, ask here. well, just to let you know how this finished. First of all thanks for the inputs. What I did in the end was take off the whole finish, installed a splint of spruce, and refinished with the bridge still on. I used NC that I coloured with one of the stewmac inks. The result was very nice.
