Recently completed this for a customer in the UK. It's a simple strummed folk instrument played throughout central Asia.

Nice; it looks similar to a dombra. I have a friend from Kazakhstan who has inspired me to build a dombra. I have never built a bowl backed instrument, so that will be a new challenge for me.

Yes, it is similar to a Dombra.
