Renaissance mandore

If it's not a guitar or a bass guitar discussion, and it's got strings, put it here.

Renaissance mandore

Post by Jo Dusepo »

Here's a mandore I built, which is an ancestor of the mandolin from the renaissance period. This went to a customer in the USA. For those unfamiliar with this instrument: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandore_(instrument)

The craftsmanship is impressive. I'm an amateur mandolin player myself, and it's inspiring to see the variety and history within the family of stringed instruments.
