Nuts.

Post by Brian Evans »

I have three nut blanks, or I did this morning. Making a nut for a new neck. File grabbed and chipped off the shoulder when I was cutting the first slot. Cut the first slot on the next blank too low. Stupid mistake, did the "fret at third, measure string height over one" with no tension on the string, so got a way way false reading. Got the third blank out, started to fit it and said "this is the beginning of the next mistake. Put your tools down and walk away. It will still be here tomorrow..." :x
