Real quick question.

I have been recommend to use a full size caul. Now would that be a piece of wood to use while clamping. Probably the same shape as the guitar no less or there abouts. I'm from UK and unfamiliar with some of the terminology.

Hi Mike,
Yes, a caul is a piece of wood used in clamping, often it has a thin layer of cork to protect the surface of what is being clamped. Exactly what part(s) of the guitar are you clamping?

veneer to body. last time i did it in 2 halves within half hour of each other, because of limited clamps.
Got 4 more clamps so it shouldn't be a problem this time :)

Yes, piece of wood/MDF. cut to the outline of the body shape works best. Usually you'd use the template used to cut the body out.
