Deep Tenon Koa/Alder bass

Post by James Tonguet »

Hard rock / Ebony deep tenon neck ( tenon goes to the rear of the bridge) 12" radius / 24 fret

Curly Koa cap on Alder body . Bartolini M34CBC / and 3 band pre-amp with pull mid shift.

This was designed for Chris Conrad of the Copper into Steel band .

This is my first foray into Deep tenons , all hand chiseled . I'm quite pleased with the sonic results and it is very well balanced and comfortable to play.

That is a beautiful piece of work and I just love Koa. I might need to put together a project just to work with it.

Thanks for sharing.
