I played electric organ in a band in H.S. (Yes, we did Light My Fire), and Ray was a huge inspiration. I loved the Doors, but they would not have been the same without that Vox Continental, and the man who played it.

I saw them in Santa Monica....was an interesting experience. Jim was kind of wonked, Ray was trying to keep it all together.
