Richlite or other synthetic fretboard supplier

Post by Marko Ursin »

Hello,
I'm trying to find preferably European supplier for a Richlite or similar synthetic bass fretboard blank. Tonetechluthierssupplies in UK is out of stock at the moment.
Does anybody know other suppliers?

Are you familiar with Trespa? I think it's pretty much the same product.
It's made by a Dutch company, so availability in Europe should not be a problem.

Richlite is used for countertops (the first place I became acquainted with it). Large heavy pieces. Milling it makes a lot of icky dust. If you can locate the supplier he may be able to tell you if any local cabinet shops have used it. Usually they have scrap material headed for a skip large enough to make into fingerboards.
