Follow-up:
System is complete. I have made 2 boxes, added Filtrete 1900 2nd-ary filters, hung them on the ceiling, and put them on remote control.
They are in opposite corners of the shop - pointing so they circulate the air in the room. It is real nice.

A macho pin vise, I like that!! I have all the parts, need to put that together!!
I use pin vises all the time for drilling small holes - that's really all i use to drill holes < 1/8" in wood.

Stuck the needle in the hole, and easily injected 1ml into both locations. Rattle is gone. After injecting, i cleaned up the fret slots and replaced the old frets. Put my 100% silicone in a 3ml syringe with a 17 gage needle (i think - it has a 1/16" OD)
