I have looked around for aluminum, but most seems to thick, or too thin.

Wish I could browse the photos that are on the forum.

I was wanting to look at one of guitar necks that someone posted.

Can't remember the name, or find an obvious title.

Now I understand that I should put those into a folder of my own!!

I agree with all that Greg stated. The only thing I would add is that high glue is very forgiving. It can tolerate being more dilute or more concentrated. The only absolute, is make sure the material is liquid as the joint is closed. I understand destructive testing. It is fun!! Rather than make for...
