Given that the neck likely does not have a truss rod, a compression refret that looks good now might lead to a back bow in a few years. I use Lennox 3/4", 3 hook teeth/inch bimetal blades for resawing wood. Do you think that will be too coarse for the corian?

Hiya Hiya,
I need to resaw some 5x8x1/2 corian for some inlays. Is a 1/2 by (reasonably fine toothed) bandsaw blade going to be adequate? Or am I going to have to spring for a carbide tipped blade (Hoping not)? My plan is to get three 1/16" thicknesses from each blank.

HA! I didn't know that cool air holds more humidity than warm air. I thought it was the opposite.
It's not terribly cool in the summer. But I'm going to try a dehumidifier first, before the AC.
I thought it was important to get the relative humidity down to around 10% for instrument making.

Hiya Hiya, I'm facing the same problem, and I'm wondering how things are working out in your shop(s). My shop is in a Pennsylvania basement with sandstone walls. It gets VERY humid in there during the summer---walk in and immediately start sweating humid. There is a window so an AC unit next summer ...
