Thank you guys. I drew out a full size top view of the guitar but not a side view. Will deffently do this now. Thanks again.

so i didn't give a lot of info the other night with my question. so i thought i would try again. so I am new to guitar building and need some advise. I am building a solid body guitar with a bolt on neck. I have the neck built and the heal is flat. no angle. I haven't routed out my neck pocket yet. ...

I am new to guitar building but i just finished carving my first neck. I agree with everyone else, rasp, file, scrapper, sandpaper. On the rasp though i bought a japanese rasp with the two handles. Love it works really well and feels very comfortable in your hands.

sorry didnt say the formula right. heal height-(2mm+bridge height ) = neck depth

yes its a solid body. bolt on neck. the heal of the neck is flat for now. and i i was thinking of doing a flat neck pocket as well and if worse came to worse use a shim. laminating wood for the body

I have some questions about laminating wood for the body of my guitar. I have a really nice piece of zebra wood and want to laminate 2 pieces of zebra and one piece of mahogany in the middle and the wings be mahogany (5 piece body). I see this often with through body necks but not with bolt on necks...
