Wiring Diagram For Double Neck Guitar (Stratocaster Style)? - created 02-12-2010

I have a Fender Stratocaster style double neck guitar that I need to wire but can't find a diagram anywhere! I want the bottom part as a typical three single-soil setup, and double humbuckers for the top part of the body. I know how to wire each one separately, but not with just one jack. Any help would be appreciated!

I would send the outputs from each neck to a Les Paul or a Tele style switch and then to an output jack. I'm pretty sure that's how the gibson doublenecks are wired. You can use either neck or both at the same time for sympathetic string vibration.

Thanks for the suggestion, but how would that work with two sets of pickups wired to the same volume and tone controls? The body is routed like a standard strat with just enough room for 1 set of volume and tone controls. Could both sets of pickups be connected to the same volume and tone pots without affecting one another?

If you place all of the pots after all of the switches and last just before the output jack, then yes.
