Jim Marshall of Marshall amps has died. I didn't realise he was British.

The man who started the "Loud Crowd"... and, from all accounts, a generally nice, generous man.

That's a bummer. I would like to go purchase the used 60 Watt JCM 2000 combo from the local shop to honor his memory. I would have to sell my Les Paul to get the money, and I don't know if owning a Marshall without a Les Paul makes sense to me.
