Hi all,

I just realized that people used full names here, so please let me know how I can change mine.

I was wondering if anyone could provide the actual precise tuning for the Chinlili instrument of Ayacucho, Peru. I know that it is E - B - G - D - B - G, but I need to know with the actual pitch (i.e. E2, B3, etc..) Does anyone know please?

Thanks for your time,

Jason Johnson

Hi Jason and welcome to the forum! I've changed your log in name for you.

Hopefully one of our members will be along soon with some info on tuning for you.

Jason, there's a page that describes it being like a charango, which you can find tuning info for on Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charango.
