Hi Phil,
Here's a direct link:
http://www.mimf.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=27
If you're at the "Board index" (top level), you should see the subforum "The Local Materials Challenge (now open)" listed under the "Challenges" forum. If you're in the "Challenges" forum, you should see a framed box towards the top (above the Announcements) with the text "The Local Materials Challenge (now open)" and "Here is where you put your entries". Hope that helps.

Been away awhile but I thought there were individual threads for each build, but now I can't find them.

Well, subforums don't exactly jump out at you. In the picture below, you would click on the text "The Local Materials Challenge (now open)".

Charlie, to clarify, "midnight (server time) Sunday, May 20th" - is that the midnight at the start of or at the end of Sunday? ie if one were to go to bed promptly at that time, and slept for 8 hours, would you be waking up on Sunday or Monday.

I meant midnight as in the end of Sunday. You'd wake up on Monday.

I saw the headline "Voting begins", but I can't find where/how to vote.
Also, it might be sensible to modify the approach above, as I think there were only three finishers! Presumably we shouldn't vote for ourselves.

Ok, sorry for the delay. Congratulations to all who participated, even if they did not complete their instruments in time.
There were 5 completed instruments and we'll go with the previously stated rules. So for those who completed their instruments (and staff), please send me a PM with with your choices for your top 3 instruments. David and Pat, since you both completed two instruments, you may vote twice!
Here are the choices:
- David Frasetto's lap steel ($60.19)
http://www.mimf.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=613
- David Frasetto's Gottan ($19.02)
http://www.mimf.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=702
- Chris Reed's Yew Uke ($33.94)
http://www.mimf.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=654
- Pat DeGreve's OM ($96.23)
http://www.mimf.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=622
- Pat DeGreve's LP Jr. ($94.10)
http://www.mimf.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=623
And yes, you can use one of your votes for your own instrument.
I also set up a poll for the general membership for a "member's choice" award, see
