Drop-fill question

Post by Steve Sawyer »

I just finished level-sanding the nitro clearcoats on the body of my first build, and have revealed a few spots that need to be drop-filled.

Am I correct that I will need to allow these fills to COMPLETELY cure before scraping or sanding them flush?

Thanks.

If you have time, let them cure for a couple of weeks at a minimum. Otherwise you will have some shrinkage which will show in the finish.

That's what I was thinking.

Thanks, Barry.
