Bill Collings

Post by Barry Daniels »

I was very sad to read that luthier Bill Collings has died. I got the chance to meet him once in the 70's when he came into a luthier supply store in Tulsa where I worked. He picked out a handful of spruce braces after tapping on every one our supply. I could tell he was a serious and dedicated builder. His guitars were some of the finest. Big loss to the community.

That is a shame. Collings guitars are fine instruments.
I need your help. I can't possibly make all the mistakes myself!
