Delacaster

Post by Greg Kindig »

I'm building a custom solid body electric for my guitar teacher. His studio is called "Delaware Guitar School". The guitar body is in the shape of the state of Delaware. I took into account the weight, proportions, strap connection points, and general principles of a tele style guitar. I am calling it a "Delacaster".
Body is a slab of Delaware cherry, neck was salvaged from an Ibanez.
Progress photos show rough sanded body and neck attachment.

It will probably stay in the studio.

Lucky it wasn't Maryland! That'd be some tough carving.

Maryland would be a bugger. Alaska, too.
