Now that I have made it,what do I do with it?

If it's not a guitar or a bass guitar discussion, and it's got strings, put it here.

Nice looking strum stick. You mean you can't play any instrument yet. . . You have it so you might as well play it. those things have a natural ability to dissolve excuses. They are small enough to take anywhere or sit next to your chair and easy to pick up every now and again. There are no wrong notes so whatever you play will be musical. Just do a little googling on how to play one and have at it, even when you mess up it will sound okay!

You might be surprised what can be gotten from three strings.

Tune the strings to G D G and find some strum stick or dulcimer lessons on YouTube. Bob McNally's videos are a good place to start https://www.youtube.com/user/bobomcnally/videos

if you want to hear something other than a banjo-esque US southern twang, look up Michael J. King from across the pond:

If you want to hear some "banjo-esque" Irish music on a hybrid Ban-jammer dulcimer and phenomenal 3 string dulcimer flat picking check out Aaron O'Rourke: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZWekWHXVfo Amazing what he can do with 3 strings.

Us "Southern Twangers" will forgive you, Bob.

I'm not musically inclined either so I gave the hurdy gurdy that I just finished to my son. He is a musician so it's his problem now :)

I'm nearly done making one too.
Your picture interested me.
I cut a random sound hole before realizing I could tune the soundbox.
I'll cover some of the hole to obtain a G resonance.
Still not sure what I'll do with it when completed.
