Charlie, this is looking pretty good to me. I think the active topics feature will be nice, too. Glad you are not losing the sub-forums. I think they are the most valuable feature of MIMF. I've always liked the way the sub-forums are organized.

+1 on the virtues of the sub-forum! I visit various other fora and message boards; it is always easiest to navigate on the ones with sub-categories (that are actually used by the members). Some places just end up putting everything in the general category and it gets so many discussions that they drop off the front page.
