Kaizen foam

I'd like to build a case for an old guitar.has anyone here used kaizen foam?
I'm concerned about the finish reacting to chemicals in the foam?

I've not used it, but according to the MSDS (http://www.fastcap.com/estore/pc/catalo ... 204-16.pdf) it's closed-cell polyethelene which is pretty inert. You can always get some and test it against a sample of the finish in question. The glue between the layers may be more of an issue, and that's not identified in the MSDS.
