New Build Pics

Post by Gordon Bellerose »

Here are the new ones I have recently been working on.

The first is a Bubinga / Maple / Bubinga Body
It has a center stripe consisting of Flamed Maple, Cherry strips, and hard maple center.

Next is a Bass guitar. This one is a maple center, with a thin wenge top. It is going to get some serious carves, exposing a lot of maple.

That bubinga is very heavy and dense. That body has been chambered to relieve the weight.
It will get some carving also.
Thanks for looking Bryan.

Yes - looking forward to seeing those progress.

I'm really interested in seeing the carve on that bass. I seriously thought of trying something like that on my current build, but decided to play it safe and just do a carve on the solid walnut edge.
