Here is a pic of one of my new guitars.
This one has a Pau Ferro Top, with a Maple back.
The neck is Maple with a Padauk fret board.

This one has Golden Age humbuckers, with Push / Push controls for coil split.
The volume controls the neck pickup split, and the tone controls the bridge. 3 way switch as per normal.
The inlay is mother of pearl.

Nice! How hollow is it?

It is chambered back about an inch to the rear of the sound holes., and up to the horns.

Been a while since I've been on here, that's a very pleasing guitar to the eye, nothing too embellished and some really nice design features, love the wood choice as well :D

Thanks gentlemen!
One thing I haven't mentioned is the Full Contact Hardware T.O.M. bridge.

This is a really nice piece of hardware. Adjusts beautifully and easily. NO sharp screw ends sticking up out of the saddles either!
This bridge sits flat on the top, and all the adjustments are done in the E-cam system saddles.

And of course, locking tuners as usual.

The maple used in the neck was a different piece, and bit more yellow, which caused the different color.

One of the reasons I brought the hollowed out portion only just back of the sound holes, is for balance.

Looks great! I've never tried Pau Ferro, great looking top.

I meant to post this a while back, but got frustrated that I hadn't been able to remember my login password.....

I do appreciate the nice comments. :D

In another thread that I started we talked about finishing this piece of wood, which I thought was rosewood at the time.
It was sold to me as Santos Rosewood.
Some of the guys have had trouble with allergic and breathing reactions, after using Pau Ferro.
I was very careful in how I handled it. I used dust masks and gloves when working with it.
I had no bad reactions.

The finish is just clear, water base lacquer.
