How is it to work with?

Im also considering using acrylic pen blanks for inlay material...

There was a discussion here a while back about baking Osage Orange. I tried it, and it darkens it very nicely and makes a nice fingerboard.

Mark, I remember that discussion. I want to try that some day. The pics posted here looked nice. Osage does darken over time especially if it is out in the sunlight. That is good and bad, school bus yellow is my favorite color.

Cast acrylic is very easy to work and polishes beautifully. The smell brings me right back to 7th grade shop class, I love that stuff.
