Five Years In The Making...

Post by Tom Owen »

I haven't posted for a long time. I took a commission for a harp guitar 5 years ago, and life got in the way. I was working at the music shop 40 hours a week and doing more repairs than I really wanted, but Kauai is a small island and if I didn't do it, it had to go off island, most time to the mainland. So a bit of pressure. Then the owner of the shop decided to close and move to the mainland. I retired. So finally I could work on what I wanted too. I still take a few repairs if I feel like it, but the main thing is the harp guitar.
So it is based on the fatboy (thanks Mark), I know it is still in progress, but it is to the finishing stage so I hope it is OK to post a pic. Here it is... :D

Very Nice!
The "fat boy" looks like a good choice for a harp guitar conversion.
I haven't seen any Posts by Mark Swanson in quite a while. Is he still building guitars?

Mark is still building and pops in occasionally, but not very often right now.
