do i need a radius dish when I'm making a guitar?

It is helpful but not necessary. For my first couple I made some radiused cauls that I used to clamp braces against

You can stick sandpaper to the cauls later to sand the kirfing to the correct angle.

Another trick with a go-bar is to take a stack of buisness cards and fan them out on the bottom plate of the deck - take your curved brace and make the fan fit the brace. Then clamp against the cards
