Just giving it a try. Nice to be able to format on the go. Easy to post a topic. I wonder if the edit function expires like it does on the old forum; I hope not. Smilies are cute but I think I'd deactivate them, if possible.

Thought I would try to upload a photo.

Seems easy enough, if it works <g>

It works! And it looks like it is going to be a sweet guitar...

Why does the picture only fit into a certain size window? I can understand that this allows the MIMF the control of the picture size, but It's annoying when scrolling down the main browser window then the scrolling switches to the photo if the mouse happens to be over that area of the page.

Other than that, bout' time the MIMF upgraded ;) the old system sort of sucked!

edit: Oh I see that if I click on the photo, it will make the entire photo show up on the page.....interesting.

Oh and nice looking guitar Steve!

That's nice to know. Thanks for the tip.

I like the guitar, and the format of the uploaded photo.

But it crops it. I think the scroll behaviour is the right thing so one gets to see the bigger pictures, but rather than crop, resize might be nice. The PHP will let you do this if you goa editing.

Yes I see that, it would be better if the uploaded file was scaled to some maximum width/height to fit the 'standard' page size (not too small though; it's nice to be able to skim through a thread and actually see the shots), with clicking on the reduced image popping up a full sized view.

Regardless, the new layout/software looks nice so far. Good work team!

It scrolls in the page view, but if you click on the picture, it pops to full size. The forum software can also be set to post a smaller thumbnail that can be enlarged by clicking on it.
