Linking to personal blogs

I sure hope you allow links to personal blogs in the signatures eventually. I have an entire series on making a four string cigar box guitar neck from scratch and it would take up quite a bit of space on this forum. I would love to share this information and let builders see my whacky ideas and maybe give people some new ones, but mostly it gives other members a quick way to see what I'm about. I realize this info can be found in each users profile so I have to wonder why not allow it in the signature line. That said, I have faith in mimf and do think this is a great forum, and plan on contributing to the sharing of knowledge. Look for my gourd ukulele builds in the near future.

Thanks so much

Hi Mike,
We're reviewing the current rules now, thanks for the input. Look for an announcement in the next forum newsletter. But I can say for certain that we're still going to require real (first & last names) for your username, so please let me know if we can update your registration "nicola" to "Mike Giannico", thanks.

Charlie

Hi guys,
I'd like to weigh in and say I hope it will be allowed also. I once visited Wayne Henderson's shop, and wrote a lengthy blog post about the day I spent with him. The post had dozens of pictures in it. I posted a link at the old MIMF in order to share my experience with my friends there, in a way I could not have done on the forum, and it was promptly and immediately deleted. I thought that was really too bad.

By the way, I love the new MIMF. Great job with it.
Martin
