MIMF

This doesn't seem to work on the new site (at least for me anyway). Is it a bug, or just needs catching up to speed?

Doug, Did it work ok on the old MIMF site? If so, it might be a cookie setting in your browser-- maybe see if you can find the one for this forum and delete it. Or maybe you turned on a browser setting that deletes cookies automatically?

Mine was working fine until the switch yesterday. Now I can't stay logged on from any computer or my phone. They were all working fine before yesterday though.
I cleared my cookies and resubmitted my name and password, each time checking the "keep me logged in" box. I'm using firefox.
The browser remembers my name and password, but it won't keep me logged in. Even if I just leave the page and go to another site for a couple seconds, when I return I'm logged back out.



Edit: okay, maybe I was wrong. I just now bookmarked the new url and when I click on the bookmark it brings me to the index page and I'm logged in. but if I go to the main mimf.com home and click the forum link there it brings me to the index page logged out and I then have to sign in again.
I can even click the bookmark while on the logged out index screen and it will bring me right back to the index and logged in. I figure it must have something to do with the much longer url than the normal http://www.mimf.com/phpbb. I just figured something must be up though since I click on "keep me logged in" every time but it still logs me out every time unless I use the bookmark.

I have the problem too. It is even worse than before. Being not an artist I might drop this fight in the fuiture. <g>

I keep my page on "View Unread Posts" and refresh it when I come back to the computer. After a few hours of inactivity, it requires me to log on again when I refresh. The repeated log ons were not required before the update this weekend.

Me too! Have to log it each time (evn though "log me in automatically" is checked (I purged all cookies etc... no change)
FWIW, none of the other similar looking forums (AGF, ANZLF etc) does this.

Sorry, but another.... Using Firefox 10.0.2. Not logging on automatically when loading from a bookmade made from a logged in page and apparently being logged off even when I just refresh the page. This did not happen before the recent change and is not happening with other phpBB forums I frequent.

yeah.... forget everything I said before about using the bookmark. that isn't working anymore for me either. I have to log back in pretty much every time now

Looking good. works from the bookmark, works from the mimf.com link, works when refreshing. the only test now is to see if it keeps me logged in after a few hours of inactivity. Thanks!
