Goodbye David Bowie!

Post by Mark Swanson »

Not everyone liked his music, and for sure I didn't enjoy all of it myself but some of his songs I really liked. And, better yet, I liked what he stood for, and how he said it. He was one of the first to mix two things I loved a great deal, Science Fiction and Music! Thank you David Bowie....the stars look very different today. Here's a cool video of "Starman".....

First gig I ever went to was Bowie's Ziggy tour in 1972 at the Glasgow Apollo. Just amazing and his songs mean so much to me as a gawky teenager growing up in the early 70's and yes I did have a Bowie haircut! God bless you, your music will live forever, My favoutite... Chamges.

Cheers, Bob

Now he'll meet again his old friend Lou Reed.

Rest in Peace.
