Cardinal Lacquer

Post by Barry Daniels »

Has anyone used the new Cardinal nitro lacquer that LMII has yet? I bought some MacFaddens lacquer shortly before they went out of business, and I have heard that this batch tends to crack, so I need to find another source.

Barry, I think I've mentioned this before but I really like the stuff I get from these folks - http://www.rwps.com/wood/wood2011.html Rollie Williams Paint Spot. They have an outlet near me so I can pick it up which really helps!
I use the "High Solids precatalyzed lacquer". great stuff, fast build.

Barry, did you follow the link that Clay put in my thread of the same name - about a month ago?
The people on OLF seem to like it. I'm planning on getting some, but I build so slowly, there may be another product on the market by the time I get there. :-)

Thanks Mark, I looked into that but no one near me carries it.

Thanks Chuck, I will go look it up. You apparently build about as fast as I do.

Barry, those folks are nice and cater to a lot of guitar builders. I see on the website that they claim "free delivery". If you have any interest at all, maybe you could send them an email and ask about that.
