KRAFTech tools

Post by Greg Steil »

Does anyone know of this brand of tools. Basically just a Dremel type unit. However, I need the "nut" that holds the collets. No it is not the same as a Dremel. Looking for a source for that part and perhaps others, tool works great, was cheap, just can't use it. Thanks in advance.

Just google "Krafttech rotary tool" and you will get several links to the manual, but it does not seem to have the nut size. There isn't much information on this brand, other than it seems to be cheap import knock off.

If you can identify the thread diameter and pitch (almost certainly metric) you might be able to find an acorn nut that could be modified to work for you. It looks a little like the Kobalt line from Lowes, maybe see if a Kobalt, Harbor Freight, WEN, etc. nut will fit. If the shaft is 10mm then this might be a good bet:
