Looking for orange humbucker bobbins

Post by Topher Farrell »

I've checked with StewMac, Allparts, Mojotone & Duncan. No luck, anyone know where I might be able to get a few sets of orange bobbins, f-space?
Thank you-

I'm not sure if Duncan sells these but they certainly made them at one time:

You best bet would be to try Rit (salt) dye on some white or creme colored bobbins. Not all plastics take dye well and many plastics will soften or melt in sub-boiling water so be advised. Nylon 6 does take dye well and is quite heat resistant.
Another option of course is orange sharpie and a clearcoat or krylon spray paints.

I saw that Bare Knuckle posted a pic of an orange 7-string humbucker set a while back on social media (and some green, and purple). You could always shoot them an email and ask who supplies their colored bobbins.
