Attachments, like PDF files, are limited to 3. Pictures do not seem to be limited. Arnt Rian posted 20+ pictures in this message.

The reasons for that rule have not changed. Links to anything on the internet are rarely permanent. If you only include a link to a picture, it often will not be there when someone pulls up that discussion from the library. The pictures are important parts of a discussion and should be archived with...

I second the quick links suggestion. It looks like the only way to get from one section to another is to go back to the main board index.
