I recently needed a mold to hold a body in to free up my building mold. I recall someone mentioning making a quick mold out of cardboard, but this may be easier.

I just attached my building mold to a slab of styrofoam with double sided tape, and routed it out on a router table. Free hand with a router would work just as well. Just use the building mold as the guide for the bearing on the router bit. Cut two out of 1½” or 2” thick foam and glue them together and Bob’s your uncle.
